Redream is an emulator of the latest SEGA console, the legendary Dreamcast. This program offers one of the most fluid and simple emulation experiences you can find on Mac. This means you get to conveniently play some of the most emblematic titles in history, like Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Shenmue, Power Stone, and Soul Calibur, just to name a few.
One of the great things about Redream is how incredibly easy it is to use. You don't need to download BIOS or even complete any complicated setup. All you need is to have the roms from the games in the same folder where you unzipped the executable and the emulator will recognize them automatically. Likewise, the emulator will automatically recognize and map any controller you have connected to the computer, whether it's from Xbox 360, Xbox One, or any other type.
The options menus in Redream are also simple and accessible. From the 'system' tab, you can choose the region, language, and the type of cable you want to simulate. In the 'video' tab, on the other hand, you can choose the resolution, the aspect ratio and a few more graphics options. It's all very simple and intuitive. In the 'input' tab you can manually customize the controls for your controllers or keyboard, although the default options tend to be great.
Redream is an outstanding Dreamcast emulator that works perfectly with tons of the most important titles for the console. I would give 5 stars the program seems to be good. however I cannot load any roms it does not see them in the list, maybe some one knows better and will post a comment about this.
